Questions on Yahoo! Small Business as a startup e-shop..

Hi is yahoo small business ideal to be used as an e-shop instead of other e-commerce site? I am thinking of starting up my own home based business and it seems like yahoo small business is a nice choice to start with and they have easy interfaces to customize your online shop.

Hi!

I can't recall who it was right off, but less than a month ago, a member here on YE posted a link to their surprisingly good-looking Yahoo! Stores site. Based on what I saw of that, I would highly recommend Yahoo! for your new site.

Thumbs up Checkout My yahoo site

I made a site with yahoo http://www.pampermypaws.com

It was pretty easy. One suggestion if you use sitebuilder (i did), don't put links inside tables, period. It's just a big mess Other than that go for it! They have everything set up nicely and make it easy to market your stuff.

Good luck!!

Beware their large transaction fees.

Edit: Actually, it looks like they must have changed their plans a bit. 1% transaction fee on the middle plan is not that bad at all. I'm curious what other hidden charges occur though from chargebacks and such.

Here is the plan page:

ahah thanks for all the advice guys...yup i knew yahoo small business through G_INA's dogfood site. But on the otherhand i wanna try using some e-commerce cart scripts instead. Anyone has some cart scripts to recommend? I heard zencart isnt very good. One last question is how do i get people to pay me with their credit cart if they ever buy anything from me?
