Projections

I am currently working on projects for my online company. I was wondering how you go about finding income potential on a website that income is generated from both advertising and a store front.

well..to estimate the income.. in my opinion.. you have to know how much margin are you getting for each product and traffic your site is getting

In my experience you either have to go for a store from OR advertising, the space advertising takes up could be very valuable in selling your products. If you get 1 ad click for every 25 visitors and you get $.50 a click, and if you have a conversion ration of .5% for your store, your product would have to cost less than $4 to be making more money with advertising than with products.

Every time someone clicks on a link and leaves your site, a potential customer is walking away and in the end, your store front will make you the most money. So i guess it isn't answering your question but maybe providing some feedback from personal experience. Also, maybe you could throw the link to your site in your signature so we could take a look?

I wish I could throw the link into my signature but its not a site yet. I'm still in the planning stages for different reasons. I'll take that into consideration what both of you have said and would like to hear any other ideas.
