Hello all! as stated, i am a new member of Young Entrepreneur and i must say this site offers some great advice on all aspects of business ventures. I have been what some of you may refer to as "a lurker" but i finally decided to join. I am new to the whole e-commerce scene, but have read up on some articles and topics discussing this topic. I am now in the development phase of my site, and would appreciate any ideas or constructive criticism that may further help me in designing a marketable site. I built this site from scratch, and please note, this is not the final product- only a rough draft. This is also my first attempt at a website. thats a local IP address! Try giving us your IP address used for your internet connection. Try http://whatsmyip.org/

thats considering you have a web server setup AND appropriate ports open!

I am hosting on my pc for the moment, just to see how everything looks. I have port 80 open, which i believe is the standard http port for hosting a website. as for my ip address, it is 69.118.71.228. Sorry for the mixup. Please tell me if the site loads for you are not.

That one did not work either but it's not really a good idea to host your own site, even temporary.

Yeah, corey is right, grab a free site at freehostia.com or something just to host it for now...
