Yeah... it called AdSense!

Either that or you could always go the membership route if you'd like and charge for a membership to your site (or do your own advertising campaign instead of using AdSense.)

If you do this, get a good software (a free Open Source software I'd recommend is OpenAds... formally phpAdsNew) --- its a good software, you can find it at http://www.phpadsnew.com (or http://www.openads.com I think the new domain is.)

If you go your own campaign, you have to prove your site is worth advertising on, in example: simply provide some screenshots of your traffic records, reports, etc.

NOTE: My advice is based off of advertising, I have no idea your site's content, its purpose, etc. If I did, I could recommend other money making techniques. Until then, the above techniques should be good for any website (because the techniques are not targeted specifically to one niche/category/type, etc.)

EDIT: AdBrite could also be a possible alternative to OpenAds or whatever... although I can't rate their service as I've never utilized them before.
