I need a great designer and I'm willing to pay up to $2000 for about 5 layouts (no programming needed) and a style guide.
This is for the re-design of a classifeds site.
Based on our development site, which is already functional, you will provide about 5-7 custom designs and a style guide.
We will then implement the designs using CSS.
Tasks to be accomplished
1) Design homepage and sub pages of the site (5-7).
2) Design should have a web 2.0 look and feel (i.e., Simple layout, 3D effects used sparingly, Soft neutral background colors, Strong color used sparingly, Cute icons, used sparingly, Plenty of white space, Nice big text, CSS)

Note: a great web designer should be very familiar, and have created similar sites like those displayed in the above link
Looking for a high level layout/graphical designer with knowledge of Web 2.0 style websites (see link above). Designer must have large portfolio with with various sites they designed themelves. No outsources or minor graphical work. This job requests a true designer.
Designer must have:
1. Must be highly creative.
2. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CSS, AJAX
3. Knowledge of PHP (not required but a plus)
4. Knowledge of some SQL(not required but a plus)
5. Usability consideration is a huge plus
They must be available via IM or phone.
You design good work, you get paid.
