how to write/produce an ebook
ok guys ,iv been reading about ebooks on here lately and think i may have an idea for one and thought id try it, iv been thinking that it may be a way earning some money through passive income, iv read that not only can you sell your ebook , but you can earn from affilite links on the book after. i have a few questions for those who have done and who are currently making money from this
1- what tools / software do i need to make an ebook?
2- do you just sell it on ebay or are there other sites you can sell it on ?
3 - do i have to set up a pay pal account or some type of credit card account? how do i go about this?
4- can other people buy my ebook and then sell it themselves?
5 - to have an ebook do you need a website dedicated to advertising it and hosting it so to speak?
6 - everytime someone wants to buy the book , do yo have to physically send it to them yourself via email?
7 - does any one have any good hints and tips that i havent coverd in my questions that would be valuable to me

1 - Nowadays it's really easy, just do a google search and there are loads of programs that'll do the conversion for you. Or the latest version of Microsoft Word allows you to save things as a pdf I believe.
2 - You could try it on other similar auction sites, or post links on sites such as Craigslist and Gumtree.
3 - Of course to sell on ebay you'll need to set up a paypal account, which will require the use of the credit card. For more information on this go to ebay.com and view the information about becoming a seller.
4 - It depends what kind of liscence you give the work as the seller, you can say that others can re-sell the ebook (this is the most popular type on ebay) or say that they can only use it for personal use.
5 - You don't necessarily need a website for your ebook if you're just selling through ebay, although having a link back to a website where customers can buy more ebooks or view content can be great for raising advertising revenue.
6 - Yes. Although sometimes you may offer to burn the ebook to a disk and post it to the user if the size of the ebook is too large to be emailed. Remember to be quick with emailing or your ebay feedback rating will suffer.
Hope that was helpful.

I believe you could do a lot worse than try these two I found recently; ebookcreator.com or ebookcompiler.com, compiler is particularly good

hi thanks for the respomnses, im thinking of creating a blog/website where i discuss the topic of my ebook, and there for selling the ebook on my bog / webpage.......
couple more questions
if i want to use an article or something taken from someones own blog or website do i need to ask permission from them of just quote it from them,
how long do you think each blog should be, is there a danger of making each one too long or to short, are daily bullitins ok too? , how often would you recomend updating the blog?

You don't need a credit card to set up a paypal account. Just a checking or savings account. Two if you want to be verified and all that good stuff, and it will allow you to accept credit cards, but there will be a fee that paypal takes out of your merchant account. Also, search around on Paypal, they have their own checkout that you can do. or you can check out GoogleCheckout. It shouldn't be too difficult for you since you're not selling multiple things, just one ebook. Check these out and see if they help: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...side&nav=2.0.4 https://checkout.google.com/sell/?gs...id=aM5RnipxZq4
And google is giving $50 worth of adwords to use their checkout
Hope I helped!

Does anyone have any good links to educate about creating an Ebook in PDF format?
Also, is it important to register a business and business bank account for the payment destination, or can a newbie use a personal checking account?
