Well you have to find people who are interested in your areas of expertise. So this case is cars is it?

Go look for car forums or blogs or social networks groups and invite them to your site. Make friends first yah!!

Find related forums and ask people to review your site. But make sure the site exists first . When it's up, post the link and I'll be happy to take a look and give you some feedback and some more suggestions on how to drive traffic to your site.

The site is Clays Ferry Cycles - Home Page all my products are not yet uploaded though

I am not even listed on google when i type in clays ferry cycles (my company name). i really will spare no expense at getting listed on google. I understand I need to have other site link to my site so I have contacted about 10 related forums (all show up on googles first page) about advertising with them, but what else can I do to improve my chances on getting listed on google

Links, links, and links are key to getting listed on google.

To get *listed* on google is pretty easy. To actually rank on google is another.

Try searching for "site:claysferrycycle.com" on Google.

You can also add a link in your signature to get more links that Google will see.

Hey Josh....congrats on your site. Here are some ideas to drive traffic to your site:

1. Join forums related to the topic of your site and begin posting on the forum with your site url in the signature of your posts.

2. Submit your site to dozens of website directories all over the Net. For this you can find people who will do this for you cheaply on digital point forum: Services Forum

3. Write articles on topics related to your site and submit them to article directory - notably this one: Ezine Article Submission - Submit Your Best Quality Original Articles For Massive Exposure, Ezine Publishers Get 25 Free Article Reprints

4. Start a myspace page related to your topic and link to your website - market yourself and your page on other people myspace pages by making friends with other people

These are some of the top ways. The point here is that you need to get as many backlinks as possible and by so doing, the search engines will send you more visitors.

So my plan of attack so far is:
1.) advertise on top ATV/MC forums (this is honest prob. gonna run a pretty penny!)
2.) do a facebook and myspace page
3.) participate in forums as a vendor with link in signature
4.) hold contests on forums to give away a couple products to lucky participants
5.) make ATV YOUTUBE videos and add my link in the videos
6.) submit some articles to article databases and add my link in the text (I believe I interpreted this right)
7.) submit my site to directories

Anything else anyone would suggest, not only to get listed on google, but to get some traffic? I was thinking about doing google's adwords program, anyone reccomend this?

Man, I wish quads were street legal here *sigh*

You'll want to learn a bit about Search Engine Optimization.
Head on over to some marketing forums, and just hunt around for info.
I recommend WickedFire, cause the guys there REALLY know their stuff... but a caveat, if you go there, don't ask for info. Most of it's already posted in other threads, so just hunt around.
And if you're going to ask a question, or introduce yourself, a)make sure it's the right part of the forum and b) you'll need to post up some cleavage (doesn't have to be your own... yes, I'm serious about that...)
