Great place to go to get help with the e-commerce aspect of your website

Hey everyone,

I noticed that a lot of people on these forums have been asking about the best way to turn their site into an e-commerce one. Instead of responding individually to each posting (which I was doing), I thought I would just make a new post instead.

I found this site a few weeks earlier and I thought I would share it with you guys. The site is called "My Software Project" (My Software Project - Home) and what it does is help business owners find professional software developers that: (a) can help you with the development/maintenance of the e-commerce aspect of your website, (b) can help optimize your website for search engines (as well as other online marketing related tasks), (c) can help create other kinds of custom software for your particular business.

If you're looking to shop around for the cheapest prices for a quality software developer, then this is definitely the place to go. All you do is signup, post a description of your software project (which I should add is all completely FREE), and then sit back and relax while software developers post advertisements/cost estimations for your project. You are then free to contact whichever developer you like!

Anyways, just thought I would share this information with others!

Cheers,

James

Guru.com

Hi James,

I've also found Guru.com to be a good site to find qualified freelance and IT contractors.

Best,
Michael
