Hello, my name is David. I am 27 years old, and live in West Virginia. I am currently studying business. For many years I have been interested in a ebay or dropshipping business, but i have ran into some problems.

1. I can't find any LEGIT suppliers to get products cheap enough to make profits on ebay.

2. Does dropshipping work on ebay? If not, then is there alternatives?

If anyone could help me with suppliers that would be great! I need LEGIT suppliers!! lol....Any help is greatly appreciated!

David, I am a dropshipper who has never sold on ebay, but I have dozens of customers who do. Daily, on a worldwide basis, I have orders from ebay sellers. I have some who brag about doubling their cost, others complaining it's hardly worth it.

But, let a shipment go astray for a day or two and they are biting their nails over negative feedback and losing their powerseller status, etc.

well i'm not necessarily wanting to use drop shipping on ebay. I was j/w if it actually works? How do you use dropshipping? I have sold a lot of items on ebay, but have never been able to find a supplier that is not the "middle" man. I am really wanting to get something started in terms of ebay, or drop shipping. Anything secrets you can let me in on? suppliers, legit drop shippers etc?

Here's a link to a membership site with literally thousands of legitimate dropshippers listed. There are close to 30,000 real, honest businesses in all shown.

I have been going there for years and have sent hundreds of others. I have only had 2 people come back and say they were not satisfied and never once has anyone come back and told me they were scammed. There are some dead links, but not many and all the others go to real, legitimate sources.

from what I heard, ebay is not worth due to the cost and the competition..

Your not aloud to sell items on ebay that you dont have , but if youv got a reliable dropshipper theres no reason why you cant and just keep it on the down low 8)

That is not correct. You are not allowed to say you have them and you don't. You can say Ships From or Located and where the goods are an you are OK.

well i got told differently , when i was dropshipping on ebay even though it was a business partner i had in china. i got al my listings removed because i didnt have the product . maybe its different now, but doubt it

Drop shipping used to work great on ebay. Not anymore because of high auction fees and the competition who buys in bulk.

Pete can you give me some proof of realism on this site? I have been ripped a few times doing these types of things!

I don't think ebay is worth the effort anymore just to grind out a profit with how competitive it is and the fees.

No, I can't. What could I tell you that would prove anything? It's a good resource and it costs 20 bucks, you can try it or not. If you don't, it will be your loss, if you are looking for suppliers.

Everyone's definition of a LEGIT supplier is different. If by legit supplier you mean a supplier who sells for less than on eBay you are going to be in trouble.

I don't think dropshipping works on eBay. Yes, you can find a niche and get lucky but it is going to be a long-and-risky-haul when, to many, the appeal of dropshipping is little risk and quick turnaround.

And, after all, don't you aspire to be more than a useless middleman? How would you feel about pay someone who brings no added benefit to a transaction? When you dropship on eBay -- that is exactly what you are... A middleman. You add NOTHING of value, you are just a MIDDLE MAN between the dropshipper and the customer. YUCK!

Well, I'm sure the people who sell my stuff on ebay every day appreciate you spreading those lies. I'll get 6 or 8 orders per day from one seller, for items all over $100 each. If they are not selling on ebay, they must be dreaming.

Sorry if you had a bad experience, have a bad attitude, whatever. Certainly not everyone is a success. If every one could send off $5 in the mail or paypal and come up with a million dollar business we'd all be millionaires.

Just like the shops in the local malls and centers, they come and go. Someone can be in a location for 15 years, making good money. Someone buys them out or comes in offering the same sort of stuff and goes bust in a year. Is it the method? Or the people?

We can't all be winners.
