Ebay - Dropshipers and wholesale

Hi everyone

I'm looking for ways ( as everyone here i guess ) to make money, and i'm willing to know more about the whole wholesale and dropshipers scheme.
I've heard that there are a few out there that are scams, but not the majority.
I'd like to know if anyone here is a subscriber or paying to resell those wholesale items, and how much do you pay ?
Is it a monthly fee, or anual fee ?
And the most important question.. how much do you make reselling those items on ebay ? One thing i've noticed that seems to be selling well is, for example, mp3 players. They have a good success rate ( i use hammertap , a software that searches ebay for a particular item, and gives you the stats about how many were sold, and for what price ) and it seams people are buying lots of them. But what i also found out was that there are people selling an Ipod Nano for example, for less than a wholesaler would sell me the Ipod Nano.
With that in mind, how can i compete selling my items if i can't get them cheaper? How can i get those items cheaper than the other sellers ?

Thanks in advance ( and sorry for any mistakes since english is not my first language )

buy 1000s or sell fakes. The second being illegal and the first being in most cases unfeasable. Ebay is to competitive these days like you say many sell for cheaper than wholesale because they are ethier fake, or individuals are selling left overs cheaply such as phones or the ebay stores have ordered 1000s to get discounts.

Ahha ebay...welcome fellow ebayer

First things first Im happy you noticed allot scammers. Wholesale fakes are so common now, they take from a real wholeseller and sell it to you for a little more! Its crazy.

i recommend you go here... www.offpricenetwork.com

Here yo will find many wholesale sites! There going to be chinese once that sell MP4player for $35! They look very similar to the iPod but they are not.
Im still looking for a drop shipper, but be happy if you find a good wholeseller.

See the way succesfull ebayers make money, they check LOCAL wholesellers in your own town/city whateva, then you set up an agreenment to let them dropship items even tho they dont. Tell them you will give the 10 or 20percent on every sale. Ebay is all about communication with wholesellers. Most wholesellers dont dropship but if you propose a good plan or tell them that it will benefit them they will gladly help you...

The best way is to talk in person, or call, e-mails wont get you no where!

There is no reason to pay a supplier for access to their supplier catalog. Also, monthly fees for an account dont make sense...a supplier that charges a monthly fee probably isnt a real supplier and doesnt have much confidence that the products will sell....otherwise they would just make the money on the products that you sell ;-) If you pay for a service, a monthly fee makes sense...but if you are selling their products then you are doing a service for them.

Of course...there are sites which charge a monthly fee AND markup the prices aka the new version of wholesalemarketer (you know who they are) and they get new accounts everyday for some odd reason.

PS...i have heard back from people who have been doing well selling more of the products on amazon compated to eBay...not sure if that is true.

pss some people sell on ebay as a "loss leader" they do it more for marketing their bigger site or to get some good feedback if they are new, so they are not trying to make money on the few products that they sell on ebay. it is great for the buyer and bad for sellers. ebay is a hard market to sell with much margin.

EH man. I can supply you with almost everything you'd need. We're owned and operated out of Canada so were most likely to get high and just delay shipments rather than scam you. Anyways, check out our website below and hit me up with a message or e-mail. I'll get you what you need.

Cheers.

I suggest selling digital delivery items. Nothing to ship, no muss no fuss. I'm an eBay powerseller, and it's all I sell. Check out my listings:

Hi Nuno,

There is always someone who will beat you on price on eBay. There are many illegal stocks, stolen stocks etc, that's why those items can be sold below wholesale price.

Branded electronics items have very thin profit margin, if someone is selling extra ordinary cheap, there must be something fishy behind it.

The whole eBay research and selling process is not as simple as abc, there are many aspect and factors that you need to consider and research before deciding which product to sell.

I used to sell on eBay for the past few years before owning my own dropshipping company. If you need any further advise, I am willing to help. You can send me a PM if you are interested.

If you could get electronic items on wholesale from china, it would be much cheaper than you could think of. But it is quite difficult to measure the quality of the items. If you could get a couple of samples before placing a bulk wholesale order, it would be wise.
