NO WAY! I'm not interested in spam. I will have my page viewers willingly join my very own ezine. I will not sell my mailing list. I will offer new product news, discounts and free pet info. This way i can maybe include product offers from other websites for a fee. I can include just a few lines and charge a nice amount. I imagine I will only make good money if i get a large enough list.

The list will also keep people coming to my site It basically generates traffic and allows me to keep in contact with my customers. Plus some other perks.

That is a very nice clean site good work. One of the coolest new method to drive traffic is to setup up a blog or perhaps a lens on squidoo.com.(you could blog about the process of putting the business together or product development and improvements in your vertical market). Then you post your bolg and your main site to a social networking blog library like MyBlogLog.com and begin to invite contacts from within that community to view and comment on your blog and /or site. I used this method and was positioned as number 8 on the first page of google organics in only 4 days - I did not spend a dollar and my tag was a very, very competitive search term"creating traffic". http://www.iams.com.au is a good one. But most pet food sites (I visited maybe 10 just then) suck! Go get em, boy!
