I'm 25 years old, own half a dozen corporations, and can easily make enough money to survive and have fun in 2 of the most expensive cities in the country (the US, that is) and make everyone I went to high school with jealous, but none of us are here to start a busines to "make a living." We're here to make it big.

On April 1st, 2010 (no joke), I'm picking a remote part of the country (anywhere where there's no people), getting a T-1 line, and not leaving until my company has $1,000,000 in the bank. The reason I haven't broken through is that I've been distracted by life, made complacent by small success, and haven't been able to focus on the big goal.

I'm looking for 4 people to join me.

About You. Most of what follows describes you: You're in your 20s and have entrepreneurial experience of the Internet-based variety. You could start a corporation in 15 minute or less. You know what form 1120-S is without looking it up (unless you're bent on LLCs, in which case you can alternatively know what advantages an LLC has over an S-Corp). You know something about Internet marketing. You have too many business ideas and not enough time. You're good with computers generally -- perhaps a tech guy but not necessarily, as long as you understand that money can be made online and want to go that route. You're in an urban area. You're not socially inept and can network and talk without people wanting to give you a noogie every time you open your mouth. ...and for this operation, you must be capable of being a team player.

About Me. About half the business ideas I've put out there have been tech ideas. One of the coolest ones became a Google PR5 almost overnight with no real SEO -- pretty nifty. Another one got me on TV and in the newspaper on several occasions. Another one does IT consulting and makes me most of my cash yet requires work from me in order to generate that cash (as opposed to a company that can run itself). Another dozen have done absolutely f*cking nothing, save for what I've learned.

The goal is to collaborate with up to 4 other people (if I don't find 4, I'll go with as many smart people as I can find, and if I can't find any, I'll go alone) and make one or many business opportunities happen. Once the team is formed, we write up a partnership agreement, and from that point on, we're all equals. Everyone comes on 4/1 with a few good business ideas that they think can be launched within a very short period of time. If your business idea requires a year of development, write it on a piece of paper and flush it down the toilet because we're making it happen now. If 90%+ of your business ideas are going to fail (and they are), let's pick the ones that we can fail quickly at so that we can go to the successful ones. My experience is that the ones that you can build in a weekend are the winners anyway. Look at eBay, Facebook, Hotmail, YouTube, etc. -- all started with code that could be written in no time. My PR5 was written over a weekend and I marketed it by posting half a dozen ads on craigslist before it was blogged about, linked to, and syndicated all over.

There is not much competition with websites that offer only students housing however there is a large market for it. We launched in July of this year and have grown very rapidly. We currently have listings in over 500 colleges across the country. We are also finalizing a deal with ForRent.com which will leave us with over 65,000 new off-campus properties to list on our site. This will make us the largest off-campus housing website by far in the United States. The current largest off-campus housing website has only around 10,000 listings. Our services are currently offered for free. We are waiting until we can build a very large database of landlords and property management companies, then we are going to begin charging. After discussing things with companies signed up, we have agreed on $25.00 a month. We have plans to begin charging by this June. We want the website to be effective before we begin to charge and that's where the investments will help. We have received a total of $10,000 in investments so far and are looking for around another 10 to 20 thousand. The money will go towards marketing and a re-design of the website.

The reason being that one of our partner is based in India and would join us here in Dubai when the business starts. He is employed in India and is not eligible for much of a loan there. Also, as per UAE banking rules and regulation, even if he comes here, getting a loan for him would be a problem as his company of employement has to be listed with banks here for loan approval (in this case, he will be joining our new company which cannot be listed atleast during the first 1 year of operations). So we are kind of in a fix at the moment.

If any of you can help us with some kind of term loan with fixed interest for AED 100,000 (approx USD 28K) or even suggest some other ways to raise finance, it would be really helpful.
