What sets them APART?

You all know exactly what I am talking about. "THEM" they are the people that do what we seemingly have not yet done or cannot do. They have started the Starbucks and Wal-marts of the world. Does it have so much to do with luck or with hard work? Do either of those even play a role in the success of a company?
All of these are questions that people ask themselves daily. My answer is do what you are happy with. Growing a company should be a process not something that just happens all at once. The steps to growing a company with little to no startup capital is not any easy process so dont think it is. Just be prepared for the obstacles that you are going to see along the way.
The main thing that I tell people is to find out what will make their company fail, before they start their company. To put themselves in the eye of the customer before they even open up shop. This will help alleviate many start up failures.
