Just as "quiet women rarely make history", all the greatest inventions the world has ever known were made a reality by entrepreneurs such as Thomas Edison. Children entrepreneurs should be encouraged by their parents. Governments need to recognize that they are a nation's greatest asset. Schools should scrap the medieval business model of taking in youth and churning out assembly line workers who cannot adapt to changing economic times.

The key to success as an entrepreneur is to always be teachable, flexible and adapt the "CANI" model of "Constant and Never-ending Improvement".

The internet, blogs and forums can be a great source for these resources. I would encourage everyone struggling to achieve their entrepreneurial dream, to continue their education, commitment and passion to their cause. Those that break the mold will lead the world to a better place.

Search Engine Optimizing - a way to do it without chewing up more of your precious time

Posted 05-28-2009 at 10:43 AM by Kristine Cherry
As an interesting side note, I know I am a little blog in a sea of a billion other blogs out here in the world wide wilderness of the internet, so why shortly after I posted my article about evites did I suddenly get more traffic?

Posted 05-28-2009 at 10:42 AM by Kristine Cherry
I did a cost analysis for a client last year when they were shopping around for newsletter hosting sites. They had heard about Constant Contact and currently had Net Atlantic and asked me to do a comparison. Here are the results of that analysis:

Pricing (the thing everyone wants to know first) -

1. An option to build your own templates and include surveys with a “survey wizard” are already included in the price for Net Atlantic, BUT there is an additional charge for...

Learn Where the Traffic is on Forums

Posted 05-28-2009 at 10:35 AM by Kristine Cherry
When posting to forums, learn which symbols mean a topic is “hot”, i.e. one that is viewed and commented on A LOT. It might be a picture of a piece of paper on fire, or even the word “HOT” to the left of the title of the post. Commenting on these topics will get your posts seen more often than posting anywhere else in that forum.

Another tip…some forums (like one I discovered tonight), actually tell you how many people are viewing that topic RIGHT NOW. Go there - post, comment, participate....
