This is one of the main reasons I first decided to join YE forums. Anytime I want to master an area of my life, I join a related community.

The journey of an entreprenuer is a tough one, and without other people to bounce ideas and thoughts off of it can be lonely and unmotivating.

I need YE - I can't discuss business with anyone else. 95% of people I try to talk about business with usually have nothing but negativity or pessimistic views to share. So eventually I stopped.

People don't like to fail - so most people usually never end up trying.

When I first started my journey I was scared of failing, but not to the point where I wasn't going to try or naysay/rationalize myself out of it.

I remember when I first started getting into entrepreneurship I was 17. My first attempts at business I knew had to be successful - but over time they didn't pan out for one reason or another.

Here's a couple things I tried off the top of my head but never worked for one reason or another:
Buying and selling used cellphones.
Importing laptops.
Importing bikinis from south america.
Wholesaling and retailing imported nike shoes from China (not authentic).
A couple lame website ideas that couldn't be monotized well.

And that's just what I can think of off the top of my head at 5:16 in the morning. It's pretty safe to say over the past 5 years I have failed my ass off, but these days I am started to reap the rewards of what I've found to be successful. The more I fail the more I learn and thus the more success I achieve in the future.

I want to be rich - really rich.

When I look ahead in the future I see lots of free time, a huge castle, a yacht, and plenty of good times.

Time is precious to me, its very limited. When I am thinking about building a new business or I am just looking to improve on something I'm currently working on, I want to know how I can make it as passive as possible. I want to leverage my time as much as I can.

We have been talking about passive income lately and this is a topic I am really passionate about.

If you're a paycheck chaser you might look down upon passive income. Maybe you like to work, or think that getting money every month with very little work is impossible. Well, it isn't.

While hard work is necessary to start a successful business, it doesn't have to always be necessary to maintain one. If your business has an awesome system in place that runs just as perfectly with you being absent, you've got a winner.

This is one of the reasons I have been attracted to the passive income that websites provide. Start-up costs are insanely low, and the competiton isn't much since the industry is still very young. You can work on your websites when you want, or even hire others to do the work for you. You can also work on your websites wherever you are in the world - you aren't limited to location or schedule. For the past 8 months I have been in Mexico and I've been having a blast.

Anyway, time for bed !
