Artsicle: On a Mission to Change the Art World

June 26, 2012

Alexis Tryon and Scott Carleton are setting out to change the way people buy art. Entrepreneur’s Diana Ransom talks to the founders of Artsicle about how they came up with their vision and executed on it as young entrepreneurs.

Since launching, the New York-based company has attracted about $400,000 in seed funding, hired two employees and started shipping nationally.

Key to communicating their vision is to make it as clear and concise as possible.

“We’ve learned that it’s all about simplicity,” says Tryon.
