my name is arafat shabazz , in the bussiness of life there are many ways to be a vissionary some do it in bussiness and other do it in sports ,movies , poltics

In my outlook first we need to know whats a vissionary some one who has an ideology or vision that incorpartate that into his life meaning his actions or bussiness that leads to his sucessce or respecting.

So there are many great visionary that could be on this list , great thinkers that change the world gundi ect.. or great bussiness man or women who had much sucessce because of the way they think resulting in affecting what they did or did not do , buy , sell ethic ect..

IF this list is for bussiness men in the corparate since , tiger woods , madada should not be on this list , their succuess may have been rooted from their disire to be great , but we can not over look that some of thier succces is rooted from what they respresent to the public , more than rather than what they willed or done ( not over looking their hard work ) , tiger the greatest golfer but also a blackman dominating a corperate sport has never been seen before . Mandona music is not the greatest america has to offer but she embodies the uprising of a pop culture that america did not have 50 years ago . she represents that resulting in her success.

however bussiness men and women who do more than represent change ... but they build invest and change minds with words and action ..

or more objectivly bussiness men and women
that you have named are good .. but we should not foucus on how much they are worth but more importantly what about them , the ideas and moral stanting that allowed them to go as far as they have gone ,

know one is perfect and all of their accomplisment could not just be luck , theses are the things that we have to score this list by because movie stars can make 100 of millions just off pop cluture alone is that to be compared to a man who built an empire off sheer will and ideology , smarts and bussiness savy or kneer education ( so there's a differnce .)

I'm working on a article and would like to hear your respones or rebuddles

This is a great list. The only name I would add is Ray Kroc, founder of the McDonalds Corporation. He was truly a visionary entrepreneur, shaping fast food as we know it today. Both Ray's personal and business visions are truly inspiring.

I agree with Adam. I don't see anything visionary about Madonna, Tiger Woods, David Beckham, etc. I would, however, add J. Lloyd "Coach" Tomer, Scott Tomer and Kim Sorensen who helped Art Williams (see JJAstor's comment) build A.L. Williams that is now Primerica and are building again with YTB. Amazing visionaries.

The list starts off great but I think towards the end its just about naming celebrities. I dont see how Madonna, Tiger woods, David Beckham, etc are considered top visionaries. There are people that have accomplished much more than these people. Steve jobs should be closer to the top 5. He changed the way we look at computing. Bill Gates should also be conisdered a top visionary despite Microsoft's shortcomings.

[...] Monopolistic? Not as if you put it all into the proper context… there is a reason why investing is known as gambling only to those who gamble with their investments. Could it be coincidence that Warren Buffet employs a similar concept and reaps the benefits of such (comment taken from a post from Evan at Young Entrepreneur): “His secret, as William Grieder writes in his book “The Soul of Capitalism” is that Buffet “stays close to his capital.” That is, he will not invest unless he personally meets with the top executives and completely buys into their business strategy. This simple yet proven philosophy has served Buffet well, propelling him to previously unimaginable heights of wealth creation.” [...]

Interesting list. I would probably add Carlos "Slim" Helu(TelMEX, America Movil), Wayne Huizenga (although he built many empires, WMI, Republic, Blockbuster, AutoNation, Extended Stay America), Art Williams(Primerica), and last but not least, John Jacob Astor built a giant fur trading and real estate empire.

I would add the CEO of the parent company of my franchise. Mr. James R Ridinger. He is truly changing the face of business and financial freedom for the average person. If you'd like to know more about him, feel free to email me (bettermylifenow@gmail.com) and check him out at one of our trainings...
