Works on IE too. Click a link while holding control and it'll open in a new tab. That's an awesome on our developer told me recently and saves doing the right click and selecting it from the menu... Some people do not remember to use Alt (compared to Ctrl and vice versa). For them, Ctrl-L may be a useful alternative to Alt-D. To ease Google search, use Ctrl-K.
