Technology Brings the House Call to a Whole New Level

It used to be common that doctors came to your home when you needed care.  That model went away a long time ago and was replaced with us visiting their offices or the hospital.  But advancements in mobile technology are making it possible to go back to the house call while taking a great leap forward in levels of care and efficiency of healthcare.  Today, with broadband, mobile, and even 3-D technology, doctors can "visit" patients, perform diagnostics, monitor progress, and much more – all remotely.
