		<description>I think that I have to disagree with your point about avoiding controversy. As they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity. I don&#039;t believe that you must be controversial in order to stand out or to be well read, but I do think that agreeing with everything every other expert in your field says will bore your readers (if you get any). Often, being noticed is about speaking out against a norm, but only if your points are well thought out and make good sense. If you offer a plausible alternative to a popular idea/article/opinion then you are more likely to be noticed.</description>
