Adam and Matthew Toren know a thing or two about starting and growing a successful company. The brothers are serial entrepreneurs, investors and the authors of Small Business, BIG Vision: Lessons on How to Dominate Your Market from Self-Made Entrepreneurs Who Did it Right (Wiley, 2011) and Kidpreneurs: Young Entrepreneurs With Big Ideas! (Business Plus Media Group, 2009).
The brothers have owned a wide range of businesses over the years, including a billiard hall, a printing and graphics business and a publishing company. But their passion to help others start, manage and grow thriving ventures continues to motivate them today. Incidentally, that altruism also led them to launch YoungEntrepreneur.com back in 1999.
They currently own and operate Business Plus Media Group, a media company in Phoenix, Ariz., that publishes several online properties and print publications. And they’re set to launch a free classified ads network called iSell.com in August.
