Time for a Young Entrepreneur poll update! At the beginning of the month we asked you, “When did you first realize you had become an entrepreneur?”

We would love for you to share your story of when you first realized you had become an entrepreneur, and what made this happen? Are you a natural born young entrepreneur, who started in childhood, or did it take you a little longer to make this discovery?

  1. John Ryon says:

I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to own a business. It just took me a while to figure out what type of business I would get excited enough about to actually do it. Now that I own Ryon Web Design and business is starting to pick up, I know I made the right decision.

  2. Jim Campbell says:

For me it was after being downsized for the second time in a five year span at the age of 56. Knowing that the “over fifty” stigma and the economy would be working against me I realized it was time to create a new mindset for myself.
