The following time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I do know it was my choice to learn, however I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you might repair should you werent too busy searching for attention.

Comments are well said. We deliver outsourcing products and services to companies but consider ourselves an 'internal member' of our client's team, and we stay in contact, inquiring about their events and happenings to get involved with their other outside activities or promotions for their customers. We attend their events and this certainly can generate new business and referrals.... :-)

We have found that even in the internet world, picking up the phone and talking to all our customers has been such a huge asset. Not only that, you can't up-sell like you can do over the phone. Like Charlotte said, stick to the basics.

Going back to basics and getting the most important thing right - keeping your customers happy. It's the most common overlooked strategy by a lot of SME owners. Ensuring you and your business are integral to your customers future success is imperative - that way you are indispensable!

Great post. This cannot be said enough. Too many people are concerned with new customers that they forget about their brand loyalists. That's a scary thought in today's world. The differentiation between products/services in the marketplace is minimal. What matters to customers is client service & how they're treated.

Be sure you focus on existing clients as well as prospects OR one day you're going to wake up and all of your existing customers will be gone.

Best,

Ryan
