Last week we started a new poll, “If you could meet one famous entrepreneur, dead or alive, who would it be and why?”
The current leader is Steve Jobs. Let’s look at why he would be a good choice for you to share a coffee and a donut with:
- He is the co-founder of one of the most popular brands on the planet – Apple!
- He is the former CEO of Pixar entertainment, bringing us some of the most popular animated movies, such as Toy Story & Monsters inc.
- In Fortune Magazine he was listed as ‘Most Powerful Businessman’ of 2007
- He is Walt Disney’s biggest individual shareholder and a member of the board of directors
Not only that, we think he is a total genius!
Other Entrepreneurs which got a mention include Kevin Ham, who happened to build a $300 million empire from his kitchen table. He is also the owner of the domains God.com and Satan.com – I wonder what he intends for those?
We also had the man who invented the wheel. This sparked my interest, so I Googled it. There is a current thread on Yahoo answers to the question “Who invented the wheel” it’s quite funny. Answers included Captain Caveman, Sir Alan Sugar, The Greeks, and a “Wheely Clever Man” – Ha Ha!
I think we can do better than that! So answers in a comment please – Who invented the wheel?
We also have some interesting comments on last weeks post, thank you for those! I will be bringing you another update next week, so keep those answers coming in!

hmmm great question but I have to do my research first. LOL
My number one answer is GOD.I would really like to shake the hand of the person (s) who came up with Twitter.
No…I did not invent it.It is such an invention that nobody wants to reinvent it.I guess,we should have had blogs or tweets just a few (…million) years ago,the inventor might have simply posted his/her cv along with nice pictures of the wheel’s prototype he or she had developed.Blogs and tweets a just a little too late.
Just wondering why should a wheel be circular…why not a triangle…lol…Food for thought.

I respect bill gates, larry ellison, richard branson, narayanmurthy, and steve jobs. living legend, all of them deserves the respect in years to come.
I would love to meet Richard Branson, if only because he shows that there can still be some art in entrepreneurship.
