My Recommendations
1) Pick Your Keywords
If you want to rank in Google you have to be strategic about the different keywords that you’re trying to target. As an example, for your business you might want to go after “Florida Moped Rentals” or “Pensacola Moped Rentals.” What keywords would help bring in qualified traffic for you? A good start might be to look at what keywords people are already using to find your website and if you think those are high quality keywords or not. Identifying the best keywords is definitely the first step in any SEO strategy.
2) Use Your Title Tags
The title tag on your homepage is the part in blue above where it says http://www.adventureislandcompany.com. That’s one of the most important elements that Google factors in and it’s great because most of your readers won’t even read up there (unless they are in the SEO industry of course!). You should put your keywords up in that title tag. Right now you have “Adventure Mopeds” which is great but is that really a good keyword for you? Use your targeted keywords that will help drive in more traffic for your site!
3) 300 Words of Content
Google loves content and, as the expression goes, “content is king.” You want to make sure that you have at least 300 words of content on each page that you want to rank in Google’s index. Your homepage really only has one paragraph of text so you need to beef up your descriptions! Pictures are great to help sell your service, especially in an industry like yours, but Google wants to see text so make sure to put at least 300 words on the homepage and every page on your site so you can increase your odds of ranking and bringing in new customers.
Good luck Shawn!

Good advice and I agree with the order. Choosing keywords is very important and starting off with your web stats is the way to go.
Great advices. Another thing I found out was the power of domain names for SEO and as a marketing weapon. This was the subject of an article I post of january 26th.
Cheers!
Here is my 2 cents
1) Consider adding ALT text descriptions to the graphics
2) Add navigation (text based) at the bottom of the page
3) Definitely add more content…lots of space.
4) Provide a Frequently Asked Questions link with content
5) Add FULL contact information on the page and include a toll free number.
6) I would personally dump the MP3 download on the homepage.
7) Consider coding the email address on the site so it can be tracked.

Three basic tips for any seo friendly website:
Content optimization
Site architecture
Frequent Crawling and indexing.
Starting from the top:
1) Agree with the comment about getting your major keywords into the title of the page
2) Your description meta tag doesn’t read well… I like to consider it an opportunity to put an advertisement in front of someone who is looking for what I am selling. Get the key reasons why a searcher should pick your company in front of them as much as you can in the description meta. Having your phone number in there is highly recommended. Your main keyword needs to be as close to the beginning of the description as you can put it and still have the ad read well.
3) WAY too many keywords in the keyword meta tag, pick two or three keyphrases that APPEAR IN THE CONTENT on the page to put in your keyword meta tag. Most folks will tell you the keyword meta doesn’t matter, I disagree with this but the way you are using it will look like keyword spam to the SEs and you will pay a penalty with lower rankings.
4) Put an header containing your main keyphrase at the very start of the html body text, replacing the “Adventure Mopeds 4145 Barrancas Ave. Pensacola, FL” text that is there now.
Those are the main things I can see after spending 10 minutes looking at the index page source.
Cheers,
Jim

I have a question: What has the best value? Few keywords or a lot of keywords?
