		<description>I like the premise Giorgio shares here. In fact, the customer may in fact prefer your business endeavor to be a small one. By the way, small can mean narrow in scope or target audience. Furthermore, these characteristics can translate to big profits nonetheless.

As an adjunct at Boston University, just last semester I saw two undergraduates in the midst of a successful niche online site launch (www.internshipratings.com). I guess the point is that you can be big and small simultaneously. Actually, I&#039;ve read some interesting ideas around all of this stuff in a book by Susan Friedmann, &quot;Riches In Niches: How to Make it Big in a Small Market&quot; -- probably worthwhile reading for those with entrepreneurial aspirations.</description>
