Adding to its list of accomplishments, YoungEntrepreneur.com was cited yesterday in Jake Pitt’s guest post on BloggingTips.com as “One of the best forums I’ve ever come across.”
Jake Pitt, who playfully refers to himself as “John Chow’s Worst Nightmare,” is most well known for creating one of the most explosive blogs ever, growing profits from $254.72 in June 2007, his first month blogging, to just over five figures in December 2007.
After taking a couple months away from blogging to travel, enjoy life, and slowly redesign his blog at its new site, www.JakePitt.com, Jake was appropriately asked by Kevin Muldoon, founder of BloggingTips.com, to write a guest article on how to bring a blog back to life after being away for a while. Keeping with his hip, edgy style, Jake titled his article “Gettin’ Back in the Game: Bringin’ Your Blog Back to Life after Goin’ MIA.”
Focusing on active ways to rebuild traffic, rather than traditional passive internet marketing tools, Jake discussed forum posting as one of the most effective ways to do so, adding:
“You want to look for forums with (a) a large number of members, (b) very lively discussion, and (c) a member base that matches your target audience. One of the best forums I’ve ever come across, which matches all three of these criteria better than any other I’ve seen, is YoungEntrepreneur.com.”
