Hey Evan
I now have my own domain, but I was curious to know which opion is better. Should I just have my blogger stuff point to my new domain. Or should I do the ftp publishing? I would like the option with the most control. Any suggestions
Hey Josh,
If you’re comfortable with Blogger’s interface you can just use the FTP publishing option. I’m doing it myself for 2 blogs of my own and have set up a few clients and friends on this method. Since you already have the content and info setup in Blogger why not just continue using it?

Hey Evan
Yeah It has been a rough weekend. My blog has a accident and I lost half of my material. Next time I need to back up Lol.
Yeah I tried to use the FTP Publishing and I could not figure out how to use dream weaver to create a new post. So, I am back to blogger hosting and pointing to my custom domain. I am curious if you heard anything about wordpress software?
Hey Josh,
Sorry to hear!
I am more familiar with Blogger but am also getting used to WordPress. This blog, for example, is in WordPress and I’ve recently set a client up on the WP system. One of the really cool features with WordPress is that you can choose the time of your post. You can write a post today and set a publishing time so that it goes out sometime next week if you like. If you know you’re going to be away, for example, you can write a number of posts in advance and then automatically have them published on the days you are away.
As far as I know this feature is not available in Blogger.
Good luck!
Evan Carmichael.
