That’s awesome! I just launched my own blog for young businessmen and women. It’s probably not as big as this one, but I’m going to talk a lot about investing in there too. It’s kind of an offshoot from my main business page, but it doesn’t really have anything to do with my business. The site is www.modernmomentum.com/blog

    Dear Matthew and Adam,

Heard of Reel.com? Stuart Skorman is the creator and he has written a tell all book about serial entrepreneurship. He discusses his personal successes and failures and how he sold Reel.com for $100 million. If you would like a complimentary copy email me your mailing address. I think his book would make for interesting stories from the trenches for your blog.

    Sincerely,
    John Terceman

P.S. Sorry. I didn’t know how else to contact to you.

    Dear Blain,

I just read that you managed the blog so the previous comment was intended for you. Let me know if you are interested and I’ll send you a copy asap. Mr. Skorman is also available for interviews. Thanks again.

    Sincerely,
    John Terceman

Not to be negative, but I hope your “relaunch” is much better than your initial launch of this blog. Many of us were looking forward to that and I think we were pretty much let down.

Can you explain the reasoning behind using a completely different domain name to publish your podcasts? YoungEntrepreneur.com already has deep roots. Why change that?

If someone from the YE staff could explain the vision, their goals for YE, I(I’m sure along with many others) would like to know. Maybe if I knew that, things may make a little more sense. There just doesn’t seem to be a truse sense of direction YE is headed.

    Sammy,

Thanks for your post. Our “relaunch” will surely be better than our initial launch, in fact much better. With daily posts on our blog, great interviews, plenty of good editorial and vidcasts to come. This coupled with plenty of new features that will be added directly on YoungEntrepreneur.com, we feel you along with our growing member base will surely be pleased with our behind the scene efforts. YE has been a ‘work in progress’ for several years and has been something that we have been looking forward to growing and taking it to the next level for quite some time.
Keep in touch with us and check this blog daily starting March 5th as we love to hear all of your feedback.

The ‘Trep’ podcast was launched as a test and will surely be improved and integrated directly into the YE platform very soon.

    Stay tuned!

    Thanks,

    Adam T.

Thanks for the response Adam. I’ve been a member for a few years now and although I don’t post as often as others, I’ve definitely followed YE very closely through the years with high hopes. I realize there must be plenty going on “behind the scenes” and that doesn’t go unnoticed.

I’m glad to hear the podcast will be brought into the YE domain. Definitely looking forward to that. Ever consider a video podcast?

About the blog, nothing against your guest bloggers, I would prefer to hear directly from the creators of YE and everyone “behind the scenes”. I would like to follow your projects, your successes, failures, projects, etc. Maybe that is what your blog should focus more on. The forums covers everything else and provides your guests a platform, so use the blog for your team, which is who we all really want to hear from.

    Best of Luck,
    Sammy

    Hi there Sammy,

    Great feedback. Thanks.
Yes, you are right on with your comment on a VidCast. That is one of the new features you will see integrated into YE. We are compiling some very impressive Vidcasts and hope to keep this a regular feature as the site continues to grow and achieve milestones. We appreciate you being a long time member of YE and can promise you that things around here will only get better and more consistant. We will have some very impressive entrepreneurs featured within the blogs and regular posts daily. Keep in touch and please continue to offer your ideas and suggestions because YE is for all of us!

    Cheers,

    Adam T.
